PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain stable data communication even when external noise due to static electricity is intruded to various devices making data communication by using e.g. the IEEE 1394 bus with respect to a data communication unit, a data communication method, a program for the data communication method, and a recording medium with recorded program for the data communication method. SOLUTION: The communication method of this invention monitors an access state to detect interruption of logical access thereby executing recovery processing.
