SELECTIVE CALLING CONTROL METHOD FOR SSB WIRELESS UNIT, SSB TRANSMITTER, AND SSB RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective calling control method for an SSB (Single Side Band) wireless unit that is hardly susceptible to the dispersion in frequencies. SOLUTION: An SSB transmitter applies SSB modulation to an AM modulation output resulting from amplitude-modulating a particular tone signal to call a particular SSB receiver by using a carrier frequency and transmits the resulting signal, an SSB receiver demodulates the received SSB signal, applies AM demodulation to the demodulated SSB demodulation signal to detect whether the SSB signal includes the particular tone signal and outputs a tone detection signal denoting whether the particular tone signal is detected.
