PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide generally a chip antenna, especially a broadband chip antenna used for wireless communication network and device including short- range wireless communication and a personal mobile communication network. SOLUTION: This chip antenna comprises a substrate, a feeding pad, a feeding conductor, a matching unit and a meandering conductor. The substrate is made of a dielectric material. The center frequency of the chip antenna can be accurately obtained and also controlled by changing the length of the meandering conductor. The matching unit formed by connecting a matching conductor to a ground plate obtains a desired bandwidth by using a short circuit function of the matching conductor. Such a chip antenna is suitable to be used in the wireless communication system including personal mobile communication network and device.
