PURPOSE: A method for hopping a frequency in a Bluetooth system is provided to minimize the generation of an error and improve a data transmission rate by configuring a new frequency hopping sequence by only residual channels except for error generation channels and transmitting data by a hopping sequence newly configured when generating the error. CONSTITUTION: If a response signal is a non-acknowledge signal after transmitting a packet, a frequency channel in which an error is generated is stored(S61,S62). If the generated error is within a flush time(S63), it is judged whether the error is within a training period(S64). If the error is within the training period, a packet retransmission is performed by a conventional frequency hopping sequence(S65,S67). If the error is over the training period, a packet retransmission is performed by a new frequency hopping sequence(S66,S67). If the response signal is an acknowledge signal after transmitting the packet or the error exceeds the flush time after receiving the non-acknowledge signal, it is judged whether the error is within a training period(S69). If the error is within the training period, a new packet is transmitted by a conventional frequency hopping sequence(S70,S72). If the error is over the training period, a new packet is transmitted by a new frequency hopping sequence configured except for an error channel detected during the training period(S71,S72). |
