PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a terminal for information gathering and a database server which efficiently use unused facilities and shorten the update period of retrieval information by storing retrieval information by gathering information from a plurality of decentralized and arranged terminals and then aggregating the information from the respective terminals. SOLUTION: The system is equipped with a plurality of information gathering terminals 1 which are connected to an information providing server providing information through a network and gather the provided information and location information on the provided information and a database server 4 which receives the provided information and location information sent from the information gathering terminals through the network and stores the provided information and location information so that they correspond to each other.
