PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode ray-tube apparatus and a landing correction method, which can be applied, e.g. to a display device using a high-definition cathode ray-tube and can correct landing more freely than in the prior art. SOLUTION: A pair of coils for generating magnetic fields are arranged as adjacent to each other so that the magnetic fields vertically cross the tube surface of a cathode ray-tube 1 on its face plate side and the magnetic field generated by one of the pair coils interlink the magnetic field generated by the other coil.
