RELIABLE GLASS COATING TYPE CHIP NTC THERMISTER AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A reliable glass coating type chip NTC thermistor and a method for fabricating the same are provided to reduce a fabrication cost by improving a fabrication process of the glass coating type chip NTC thermistor. CONSTITUTION: A chip NTC element is inserted between two terminal lines(33). A gold paste(32) is coated on end parts of the terminal lines(33). The terminal lines(33) are adhered to NTC element by performing a dry process under a temperature of 860 degrees centigrade. A low temperature TEOS(Tetra-Ethyl-Ortho-Silicate) or polysilazane as a low temperature organic solvent is coated on the chip NTC element. In the coating process of the low temperature TEOS(Tetra-Ethyl-Ortho-Silicate) or polysilazane, a silica coating portion(34) is formed on the chip NTC element by using a dipping method or a spray method. An SiO2 layer is formed on the coated chip NTC element.
