PURPOSE: A coaxial plug member is provided to reduce structural cost and to reduce the load given to contacts by improving the coaxial plug member. CONSTITUTION: A coaxial plug member comprises a housing(10), an inner contact(18), an outer contact(16), and an insulating piece(20) which is arranged between the inner and outer contacts. The outer contact is pivotally attached to the housing. The insulating piece received in the outer contact and the inner contact received in the insulating piece are able to pivot as a unit(14). The outer contact is provided with a plurality of latching hooks(25), which latch in place on the housing, so that the contact unit comprising the inner and outer contacts and of the insulating piece is able to pivot.
