INPUT CONTROL METHOD FOR TRANSMISSION LINE BREAKER

PURPOSE: An input control method for transmission line breaker is provided to estimate an optimum input point and reducing costs by simplifying configuration of transmission line. CONSTITUTION: An input control method comprises a first step(101) of measuring voltages of power side and transmission line side for a breaker; a second step(102) of calculating amplitude and cycle of voltages of the measured power side and transmission line side; a third step(103) of calculating phase angles of voltages of the power side and transmission line side from the amplitude of voltages of the power side and transmission line side, and an intermediate angle between two phase angles; a fourth step(104) of calculating cycle of the pulse wave based on the cycle calculated in the second step; a fifth step(105) of calculating the current point of time and the current position at the pulse wave, based on the intermediate angle calculated in the third step and the cycle of pulse wave calculated in the fourth step; a sixth step(106) of calculating the residual time to an estimated optimum input point for the breaker, based on the current point of time calculated in the fifth step and the cycle of pulse wave calculated in the fourth step; and a seventh step(107) of applying an input signal to the breaker at the point where the residual time calculated in the six step is identical with the input time determined by the characteristics of the breaker.
