PLANAR ARRAY ANTENNA HAVING RECTANGULAR BEAM PATTERN

PURPOSE: A planar array antenna having a rectangular beam pattern is provided to reduce a size and a fabricating cost of a planar monopole array antenna by forming the planar monopole array antenna on an extended side of a printed circuit board by using a printed circuit technique. CONSTITUTION: A strip line having a front conductive side and a rear conductive side(8) is used as a power distributor and a feeder. The front conductive side and the rear conductive side(8) are connected to each other by using a through-hole. An interval between arrayed antennas is 0.43λ. A vertical conductive side is used as a ground side by using a structure of a strip line, a micro-strip line, a coplanar wave guide power distributor, and the feeder. A planar monopole array antenna has a rectangular pattern by using a coplanar wave guide power distribution feeder.
