PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self melting electric insulating paint that has excellent melting capability of various kinds of polyamide resins and does not give an environmental problem such as offensive odor and an adverse influence on health and a self melting insulating cable that does not give a trouble in the manufacture using the same. SOLUTION: This is a self melting electric insulating paint that is made of an organic solvent that contains at least a polyamide resin and an aroaliphatic alcohol having a boiling point of 100-350 deg.C, and a bivalent phenol series, and a self melting insulating cable using the same.
