PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed data management system that can consistently maintain and update shared data in the main memories of a plurality of machines connected through a network. SOLUTION: The distributed data management system has a transaction acceptance part that accepts a transaction execution request, a transaction execution control part that controls the transaction execution, a transaction execution part that executes the transaction, a replication processing part that reflects the updated data sent from an original site having original data to the replica data in own site, a data reception part and a data transmission part, and executes the update processing of the data held in every machine connected through the network only with the transaction execution part in the original site, and a site holding the replica data receives the updated result executed in the original site to reflect the result to own replica data with the replication processing part.
