PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly display the calling opposite party on a displaying means when an incoming call is received. SOLUTION: A caller number detecting means 41 detects the telephone number of a calling telephone from a received signal demodulated by a communicating part 13. A telephone directory registration deciding means decides whether or not the detected telephone number is registered in a telephone directory, and the results are sent to a light emission control part 16. When the telephone number is registered, the light emission control part 16 reads a light emission pattern corresponding to the telephone number from a light emission pattern storing part 44 for telephone numbers and performs light emission control of backlight/button light 20 so as to be subjected to light emission in the light emission pattern. Thus, the backlight/button light 20 is subjected to light emission in the light emission pattern corresponding to the telephone number of the calling telephone.
