PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parabolic antenna capable of easily performing initial acquisition of radio waves with simple work. SOLUTION: In this parabolic antenna 3, two independent members being a first supporting part 21 and a second supporting part 22 are connected to each other by thread connection, and further, the movable range of the second supporting part 22 is limited between an initial acquisition position I and a focal position F. Also, the second supporting part 22 is connected to the first supporting part 21 so that a primary radiator 12 can receive linear polarization while the primary radiator 12 is located at the initial acquisition position I and the focal position F. Then, an operator performs initial acquisition only by turning the second supporting part 22 until the supporting part 22 stops and can also make the primary radiator 12 surely receive the linear polarization being a transmission and reception object.
