PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection member between batteries, to be used for forming a connection structure between the batteries having sufficient mechanical strength, low electrical resistance and lower cost resulting in high productivity and reliability, and the connection structure between the batteries, using the same. SOLUTION: To a space between a bottom face B12 of a circular portion of the connection member 20 and a sealing plate N2 of a columnar battery N and a space between a side A1 of a large cylindrical portion A of the connection member 20 and a side face of a can bottom portion M1 of the columnar battery M, series resistance welding is carried out, using small holes C1 having burr portions at the edges, formed in the bottom face B12 and the side A1, respectively, as non-effective shunt current preventive holes and the burr portions as nuggets C3. A positive electrode terminal N3 of the battery N is fitted to a through-hole B2 of a small cylindrical portion B of the connection member 20. |
