PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device, which can match a dynamic range of a subject with a dynamic range of a solid-state imaging element, without degradation. SOLUTION: When a maximum luminance and a minimum luminance of a subject are computed by an arithmetic circuit 103, based on the digital data outputted from an A/D converter 101, the luminance range of the subject is computed by the arithmetic circuit 103, and a reset bias supply circuit 104 is controlled according to the luminance range. Then, bias voltage applied to each pixel of a solid-state imaging element 100 during reset is adjusted by the reset bias supply circuit 104.
