PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile server capable of performing operations for machine settings on a facsimile server by transmitting text data via a communication network easily even by a user who does not know a format. SOLUTION: The server comprises demand receiving means 10, 19 to receive demands for transmission of a predetermined template via a communication network N according to a HTTP, transmitting means 10, 19 to transmit the demanded template to the network N according to the HTTP and a changing means to change setting information of the server itself based on editing contents when the template is edited and transmitted according to a predetermined protocol.
