PRINT-HEAD FEED APPARATUS AND PUNCHED PAPER FEEDING BOX OF PRINTER INTEGRATED IN HANDHELD TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A print-head feed apparatus and punched paper supplying box of printer integrated in handheld terminal is provided to reduce size and weight of the portable radio terminal by minimizing spaces required for installation of components constituting the printer. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a carriage(2) for mounting a print head(1); a carriage transfer guide pin(3) protruded from the front surface of the carriage; a screw shaft(6) which rotates to guide the carriage, at the state where the carriage transfer guide pin is engaged with a spiral groove(7) formed at the screw shaft; a driving unit for rotating the screw shaft; a carriage guide groove(4) formed at the rear surface of the carriage; and a carriage guide shaft(14) inserted into the carriage guide groove, and which guides transfer of the carriage. The driving unit includes a motor(9) disposed in front of the screw shaft, and which generates a power for driving the screw shaft; and a power transmission gear(5) connected to an end of the screw shaft, and which transmits the power generated from the motor to the screw shaft.
