PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a discount price only to a patron customer to sell an article, when a visitor purchases the article in a retail store. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a POS terminal for reading an ID number for identifying the visitor and a bar code attached to the article selected by the visitor, inquiring the discount price when sells the article to the visitor having the read ID number, and processing charge settlement for the article based on the discount price provided by a result in the inquirement, and an article sale control server for recording an ordinary price of the sold article, and a discount rate of the sales price corresponding to article purchasing results of the each visitor in the past, and informing the POS terminal of the discount price provided by multiplying the ordinary price with the discount rate of the corresponding visitor, in response to the inquirement of the article price from the POS terminal. |
