PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image restoring device, capable of reducing ringing or noise emphasis, and obtaining a natural restored image. SOLUTION: A picture whose restoration level is decided, based on the difference between each pixel and pixels near each pixel in a light-receiving element array body 101 is divided into a plurality of areas, according to the decided restoration level, and the image is restored according to the decided restoration level for each area. Thus, it is possible to validly reduce ringing or noise emphasis and to obtain a natural restored picture by de-emphasizing conspicuousness in the area boundary part which is likely to be generated at dividing of the image into two kinds of areas. |
