PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of cogging torque by eliminating influence to magnetic field of magnets for drive by the magnetic field of the magnets for rotor attraction. SOLUTION: In a motor 10 and the disk drive device 1 using the motor, a rotor 15 having a rotor case 18 and the magnets 19 for drive fixed to the rotor case and rotating with a disk table 11 holding a disk shaped recording medium, a stator 16 having stator coil 22 and attraction magnets 24 always pressing the rotor in the axial direction of a rotor shaft 17 not to float the rotor are provided, and magnetization to cancell the influence of the magnetic field of the attraction magnets is applied to the magnets for drive. |
