PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check the material of a load cooking pot in further detail. SOLUTION: In the microwave range, a control circuit 29 for controlling the electric current to be sent to induction heating coils 8, 9, etc., and the control circuit has a monitor circuit 52 for detecting the input current and input voltage to be fed to the induction heating coils. Furthermore, the control circuit is structured to conduct a determination mode for determining whether the material and shape of the load cooking pot is suitable for the induction heating in plural stages, by sending an electric current to the induction heating coils for a prescribed period of time, set by a specific input operation and detecting the input electric power from the output of a monitoring circuit, when the electric current is sent to the induction heating coils. |
