PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user side to easily provide an editorial policy to an infor mation providing side and alter it as to an information rearranging and provid ing device and a recording medium for collecting information from a network by an automatic collection part and providing it to the user through the net work. SOLUTION: A selection and registration part makes the user select sample documents by presenting the sample documents corresponding to a category set composed of a combination of categories to the user and registers the set of categories of the selected sample documents and information collected by the automatic collection part is classified according to the category set registered by the selection and registration part and provided to the user.
