PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic focus adjustment unit which is capable of easily adjusting a focus corresponding to actual use conditions. SOLUTION: A dynamic focus adjustment unit is equipped with a focus detecting means (15) which detects the brightness of an adjustment position selected out of a plurality of adjustment positions on an image plane as focus detection information; a correction signal generating means (1) which generates dynamic focus correction signals applied to a CRT, and adjusts the waveform of a component part of the dynamic focus correction signals at an optional adjustment position out of the adjustment positions separately in accordance with focus correction data; and focus control means (12c and 19) which separately and, successively changes focus correction data at the selected adjustment position corresponding parts, obtains focus correction data which make a focus optimal at a selected adjustment position, stores the optimal focus correction data, and separately controls the selected adjustment position corresponding parts by the use of the optimal focus correction data.
