APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING DEFORMATION OF SUB LANCE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing deformation of sub lance is provided which prevents the sub lance from being bended by local deterioration influence and correctly corrects the bended deformed area of the sub lance. CONSTITUTION: In a sub lance(3) for measuring temperature of molten steel and concentration of oxygen in a converter, the apparatus for preventing deformation of the sub lance comprises a rotation part(20) in which a rotation cam(21) connected to the upper part of the sub lance(3) is rotationally installed on a base, and which consists of a rotation motor(22) for rotating the rotation cam(21) in forward and reverse directions and a limit switch(25) for sensing the rotation displacement state of the rotation cam(21) so that the sub lance(3) is rotated; and a correction part(30) which consists of cylinder members(32a,32b) for horizontally reciprocating fixed frames(31a,31b) arranged on both sides of a main frame of the sub lance(3) so that deformed area of the sub lance(3) that is ascendingly returned is corrected.
