PURPOSE: Provided is a skin cosmetic apparatus using supersonic waves which operates normally when it contacts with the skin but minimally when it does not contacts with the skin so that a supersonic wave generating part is effectively prevented from being overheated. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic apparatus includes a supersonic wave generating unit controlled by a main processor to convert a electric driving power to supersonic waves and send them to a supersonic wave output unit; the supersonic wave output unit vibrated by the supersonic waves from the supersonic wave generating unit to send the vibration to the outside; a skin contact unit attached to the supersonic wave output unit to vibrate together with the unit; a voltage reducing unit to reduce the voltage of the electric driving power from a power source; the main processor to control the supersonic wave generating unit; and an input unit to control the main processor.
