The high speed system links a subscriber digital terminal (30) using a low voltage power network (2). Passive adapters providing filtering and impedance matching enable the use of xDSL modulation on a low voltage power supply line to the digital terminal. The transmission system provides high speed data transmission to a subscriber digital terminal (30). The system comprises passive adapters (10,10') between an xDSL (1) high speed transmission link and a low voltage power network (2). The subscriber digital terminal is connected to the low voltage power network. The system carries an xDSL modulation on the low voltage network to the digital terminal, by the use of the passive adapters (10,10'). The system also includes a low frequency filtering system comprising capacitors on the low tension electric network, and an isolation transformer between the low voltage network and the xDSL network. There may also be an impedance matching capacitor for connection of a telephone terminal.
