PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a stable and high reliability electrochemical device by reducing a load on an bonded portion between a collector terminal and a lead, achieving stably bonded conditions, enabling bending of collector terminal portions, at a position closer to an electrochemical device element and preventing the interference of the collector terminal bonded portions with a facing body, and to provide the electrochemical device. SOLUTION: The method of producing the electrochemical device, having the electrochemical device element and the facing body of a metal laminated film for storing the same comprises bonding lead terminals to the collector terminal bonded portions at an electrode portion of the electrochemical device element, thereafter binding the collector terminal portions at their one ends and curling them into final bent shape. The electrochemical device is obtained using this method. |
