PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine and a control method of the same capable of informing an appropriate cleaning timing of a microwave oven. SOLUTION: A main control part 11 for calculating and storing an accumulated heating time T by storing a heating time by a microwave oven unit 7 at every sale of an product, and determining whether the accumulated heating time T reaches to a cleaning scheduled time Tk which is previously set, and a microwave oven cleaning lamp 17 for informing a cleaning timing of the microwave oven unit 7 when the main control part 11 determines that the accumulated heating time T reaches to the cleaning scheduled time Tk are provided. Furthermore, a microwave oven cleaning button 19 for optionally opening and closing a microwave oven door 7b irrespective of sale operation is provided.
