PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker structure which can be assembled, without using a large scale apparatus, and has a good resolution and no adverse influence on the environment. SOLUTION: The speaker structure has a speaker frame 1 having a plurality of tongues 1b rising and extending from a flange surface 1a in parallel to the flange surface 1a, and a ring-like retainer 2 having holes 2a for inserting the tongues 2a. The periphery of an edge or a damper connected to a diaphragm is laid on the flange surface 1a of the speaker frame 1, the retainer 2 is laid on the periphery of the edge or damper with the tongues 1b inserted in the holes 2a of the retainer 2 and then turned and pushed into between the tongues 1b and the flange surface 1a to secure the edge or the damper to the speaker frame 1.
