PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grouping system that groups devices connected to a network without imposing a load onto users. SOLUTION: The grouping device 10 of this invention is provided with a calculation section 11 that calculates the distance between a particular device and a device connected to the network, a group decision section 13 that determines whether a device belongs to the same group on the basis of the group decision distance set in advance and the distance up to the device whose distance is calculated, and an ID transmission section 14 that provides a group ID to devices which belong to the same group.
