PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium reproducing device that can easily inform a user about roles of operation keys and how to operate them. SOLUTION: While a recording medium, on tracks of which roles of the operation keys and how to operate them are recorded, is set to the recording and reproducing device, only when the device receives entry of an operation key, the device reproduces a track on which information with respect to the operation key stored in the recording medium is recorded in place of conducting the usual operation of the operation key.
