PURPOSE: A brake booster is provided to improve control accuracy through pressure feedback control and by controlling the current capacity of a solenoid. CONSTITUTION: In a brake booster, a ring member(11) slides on the inner surface of a valve seat(6) and maintains sealing state. The diameter of a sealing portion of the valve seat contacting with a sealing member(7) is larger than the diameter of the valve seat. A plunger(5) in a solenoid(1) is screwed to the valve seat and the plunger slides along the inner surface of a busing(4). A spring is installed by greater force than the mounting force of a spring(9) supporting the sealing member and the force acting on the sectional area of the valve seat in the initial state of the booster. Thus, control accuracy is improved.
