<p>A disk drive apparatus and an information reading method for reading information from a recording medium on which a land an groove are formed by adequately servo-controlling reading means. The disk drive apparatus comprises correcting means for correcting a tacking error inverted signal, an inverting means for generating a tracking error signal by inverting the signal corrected by the correcting means, a judging means for judging which the reading means is scanning the land or groove, and a drive means for selecting either the tracing error signal or the tracking error inverted signal depending on the result of the judgement by the judging means and tracking-control the reading means according to the selected signal.</p> |
