<p>Disclosed is hinge mechanism of portable phone for opening and closing a cover thereof automatically. The hinge mechanism has a hinge housing (1300) coupled rotatably to the cover(C), and having an internal space (1320) and a through hole (1340) at one side thereof. The hinge housing (1300) is completely open at the other side. A power supplier (1400) is arranged in the internal space (1320). A hinge spring (1500) is mounted in the internal space (1320) which serves to urge the power supplier (1400) toward one side of the hinge housing (1300). A cap (1600) is put at the open side. A clutch is arranged in the phone body (B). The clutch rotates the cover (C) by sliding motion when the predetermined torque is applied thereto. A controller controlling the power supplier (1400) is arranged in the phone body (B). The hinge mechanism can open and close the cover automatically.</p> |
