A polybutylene terephthalate/isophthalate copolymer with an isophthalate content of 3-30 mol% based on total dicarboxylic acid is used as component (A) in a polyester resin composition (I) comprising 30-95 parts by weight (pts. wt.) (A), 1-30 pts. wt. polycarbonate resin (B), 1-30 pts. wt. elastomer (C) and 3-60 pts. wt. reinforcing fibres (D). An Independent claim is also included for insert moulding products containing (I).
