The invention relates to a hygienic dressing (1), in particular for females, with an absorbent body (10), fixed on a flat support (2) with sealing means (4, 5, 7) to prevent the escape of excrement, such as, for example, stools and with fixing means for fixing the hygienic dressing (1) to the person. The aim of the invention is thus to disclose a hygienic dressing which promotes the health of the wearer. Said aim is achieved, whereby a barrier (11) is provided to separate the anal region from the urogenital tract, which can also be offered as an essentially bacteria-resistant barrier without an absorbent body.
