The present invention discloses an implant (10) for placement in the retropubic space of a patient. Novel methods and assemblies for use in conjunction with the implant are also described. The assemblies comprise at least one deployable member (56) for associating the implant with endopelvic fascia (15) of a retropublic space, and an inserter (80) that is sized and a nd shaped to associate the deployable member with endopelvic fascia.
