The invention relates to a driven head part of an electric toothbrush comprising a supporting part and a number of brush bundles, which are held at their lower ends by the supporting part. Two of the brush bundles are adjacent at their lower ends, whereby the brush bundles are slanted away from one another at an acute angle to the supporting part. In addition, the supporting part can have an essentially circular surface, out of which the brush bundles project, whereby one brush bundle is slanted outward along an imaginary radius, whereas another brush bundle is slanted along an imaginary circumference. The brush bundles preferably have different shaped cross-sections, e.g. oval, triangular or circular.
