The mounting for the lateral force spike, especially for a staircase landing, has a holder for it with an axial sliding movement, and the holder is shrouded by a filling. The holder is shaped at least in sections from a shaped component of rubber or elastic plastics, and especially an elastomer with shape stability. Steel guide bars for the spike are at the inner walls of the holder opening.
