agricultural and building machinery. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cabin ventilation systems. According to said method air for ventilation of cabin is taken from side of cabin exposed to the wind. Device includes windward side sensor, valve and gate. Deflection of exhaust gas column is used as windward side indication. Deflection is detected by air temperature sensors installed at different sides of exhaust gas column on heat insulated bracket secured on exhaust pipe. Air temperature sensors can be made in form of semiring thermocouples or thermistors. EFFECT: improved operating conditions owing to decrease of temperature of air supplied into cabin, and rational intake of air from zone with lowest temperature of ambient air. 3 cl, 6 dwg
