The neck of the bottle has a glass extension piece (1) at the opening tightly connected to the plastic body (2) of the rest of the bottle. The extension piece is connected to the body by screwing, shrinking, pressing, by adhesive, or by some other means. The extension piece may be fitted inside the body with an O-ring seal in between.
