In order to speed up the power equalisation of power amplifiers in the transmission output stage of mobile telephones, the curve for the power detector used for power regulation is based on just one or two comparative values. As the gradient of the curve for the different power detectors is, as a rule, always uniform, one or two points are sufficient for the equalisation. The production process for mobile telephones can thus be greatly shortened.
