摘要 <p>A wave gearing with three-dimensional deviatedly meshed tooth profile, wherein, in the principal section of a flexible external gear, the position of the flexible external gear apart from the major axis of an elliptic rim neutral line is taken as the center of engagement of gear teeth and the position is given by the inclination angle (υ) of a tangential line at a point on the rim neutral line, and the amount of deflection (φ) in the principal section is specified by the inclination angle (υ), the number of teeth (zc) of the flexible external gear, the number of teeth (zf) of a rigid internal gear, the pitch circle diameter (ro) of the flexible external gear, and the radius (rn) of a rim neutral circle before deformation, whereby both gears can be brought into contact continuously with each other in a tooth tracing direction by aligning the common tangential direction of the tooth profiles at the contact point of the tooth profiles of both gears positioned at the center of the main area of engagement in the principal section with the tangential direction, at the contact point, of a curved line obtained by projecting the linear base line of a rim neutral cylindrical surface axially on the principal section and, by using such tooth profiles, a stress produced at the rim of the flexible external gear at the tooth bottom thereof and the inner ring rolling surface of a wave generator, particularly, at a position near the major axes thereof can be reduced.</p>
