<p>A loading drive mechanism which drives a disk tray (51) and is provided in a disk unit having a chassis, a reproducing means for reproducing information recorded on a disk, and the disk tray (51) that holds the disk and moves between a disk reproducing position and a disk mounting / demounting position, the mechanism comprising a rack gear (540) provided in the disk tray (51) and composed of a linear rack gear (541) extending at least part thereof in the length-wise direction of the disk tray (51) and an arcuate rack gear (542), a guide groove (550) juxtaposed to the rack gear (540) and composed of a linear guide groove (551) and an arcuate guide groove (552), a drive gear meshing with the rack gear (540), and a drive gear rotating shaft that ratably mounts the drive gear thereon and engages the guide groove (550).</p> |
