oil and gas production, geological prospecting, opening-up gates of valving under pressure when they fail. SUBSTANCE: gates of valving are opened up by pin-point explosion. Charge with electric detonator and baffle is passed through spaces of control and emergency valves. Metal tube is used for passage of wires and is filled with epoxy resin. Charge with detonator and baffle is attached to lower end of tube. Distance from installed charge to gate should not exceed radius of its shaped action. Spaces of control and emergency valves should be filled with liquid under pressure equal to pressure in well. Leak-proofness of spaces is provided by head that is set on free end of flange of control valve and is fitted with grand box with sealing and thrust washer. EFFECT: procedure secures formation of conduits in gates of failed valving for subsequent killing of well and replacement of emergency valves. 1 dwg
