SUBSTANCE: press punch unit includes punches of preliminary and final treatment of part at one position which are mounted on movable plate in parallel with axis of pressure and shifted relative to this axis. To ensure automatic control of motion of final treatment punch depending on height of part being treated or its hardness and rigidity, punch unit is provided with body: plate adjoins this body on one side and tail-piece adjoins it on other side. Levers secured on shafts mounted in body and in plates are rotatable around axes perpendicular to axis of pressure; one lever is spring-loaded and its one end is engageable with preliminary treatment punch and other end is articulated to one end of second lever by means of connecting rod; other end of this lever is engageable with final treatment punch. First end of second lever is used for engagement with wedge located in body for motion in way parallel to axis of pressure and actuated by end of lever whose axle is secured in block movable in way perpendicular to axis of pressure in guides of body; its other end with roller fitted on it is intended form engagement with master cam mounted on press.
