A temporary self-adhesive film for painted surfaces of vehicles, with a second film as carrier, coated with adhesive composition on one side, withdrawable from painted surfaces, and providing residue free withdrawal from painted surfaces following climate changes up to a temperature of at least 50[deg]C, where the adhesive composition contains an alpha-olefins, the polymer containing a diene as a further comonomer is new. A self-adhesive film for painted surfaces of vehicles, especially automobiles with a second film as carrier, coated with adhesive composition (AC) on one side, of adhesive force to steel of 0.1-2.0 N/cm, and residue free after climate changes at discharge (sic) velocities of 20 m/min of adhesive force 2.3-3.6 N/cm, on withdrawable from painted surfaces, and providing residue free withdrawal from painted surfaces following climate changes up to a temperature of at least 50[deg]C, where the adhesive composition contains at least one polymer from at least two different alpha-olefins, a polymer monomer content not exceeding 75 mole%, the polymer has a Mooney viscosity of ML (1+4) at 125[deg]C of at least 50, and the polymer contains a diene as a further comonomer.
