The present invention relates to methods for preparing cloned transgenic embryos, fetuses, and animals by nuclear transfer methods. Cybrids are prepared by translocating one or more pseudonuclei or pseudocells, and a nuclear donor cell or cell nucleus, into a recipient cell. The resulting cybrids can be used to prepare the cloned embryos, fetuses and animals of the invention.
