metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves refining foundry nickel production wastes in vacuum of 3.10-2-10-3 mm of mercury column at melt temperature of 1,500-1,700 C for 2-8 min; introducing rare earth metals in an amount of 0.015-0.20 % by weight of wastes, with one or more elements of the group comprising of cerium, yttrium, lanthanum, scandium being selected as rare earth metals. Method allows quality standardized burden blanks to be produced from 100% of castable refractory nickel-base alloys and high purity of metal as to contaminants such as oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur to be provided. Cost of alloys is reduced by 25-30% due to use of 100% of wastes. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced consumption of fresh burden materials and improved quality of alloy. 3 cl, 1 tbl
|
